Following the kick-off meeting in June, the project system analysis work was progressed through a workshop managed by work package no. 2 (WP2) “Causality based modelling framework analysis”. The conceptual framework for the project modelling work is driven by workshops, where the VALUMICS partners bring their knowledge and expertise together for analyzing the food systems and value chains of core interest for the project, and its stakeholders.
Prof. Harald Sverdrup from University of Iceland lead the workshop opening the important dialogue with the participants on modeling concepts and system dynamics analysis.
The two days of intensive work on causality based modeling work set the stage for upcoming work by VALUMICS, and value chains and systems case selection.
